Retirement and downsizing one’s home makes a lot of sense. A smaller home reduces the amount of upkeeping needed. We crystallised the needs of a happily retired couple who had shifted out from a semi-detached house into an apartment, and made it tailored to their favourite pastimes for both him and her. For him: A jazz audiophile sanctuary set among furniture made from his natural Southeast Asian timber collection. For her: A comprehensive kitchen experience customised to all her cooking needs perfected over the years.
